Therapy for greater clarity, courage and freedom
Helping you develop the self-understanding and self-trust to live with greater clarity, courage and freedom.
When thinking harder isn't helping
You may be thoughtful, capable and highly self-aware, yet still find yourself caught in patterns that are difficult to shift.
Sometimes we become so focused on understanding - what other people need, what they think of us, or what we should be doing that we lose touch with our own sense of self and direction.
Themes we might explore together
People pleasing, over-responsibility, assertiveness & boundaries, anxiety & overthinking, perfectionism, performance anxiety, ruminative anger, self-trust, emotional overwhelm, expression with integrity
These experiences often overlap. What matters is understanding how they fit together for you.
Finding your Way Back to Yourself
I think of this as developing a stronger sense of self-orientation — having an improved internal point of reference from which you can understand yourself, make choices and navigate your relationships.
This isn't about becoming self-focused or independent of other people. It's about being able to remain located in yourself while remaining genuinely in relation to others.
From there, it becomes easier to notice what you think and feel, what matters to you, what you want, and where your boundaries lie — without becoming too organised around other people's expectations, reactions or beliefs.
Sometimes the problem isn't that you don't know what to do
You may understand yourself extremely well, yet still find yourself overthinking, second-guessing, people pleasing, pushing too hard, shutting down — or feeling unable to move forward.
You may have become very good at managing yourself and your life, while something underneath remains stuck.
Therapy can help you deeply understand what's happening to a nuance, what's keeping a problem going, and what might genuinely help.
A Space to be Understood
I'm a BABCP accredited practitioner with over 15 years' post-qualification experience.
My work is grounded in evidence-based psychological therapy, in partnership with the whole person — their body, emotions, relationships, circumstances and values.
My intention is to support you through the challenges you face and help you move towards the life you want — reducing suffering and increasing your range of being in the world.
Therapy that's collaborative, inquisitive and practical
Effective therapy isn't about giving you a set of answers or telling you how you should live. Equally, it isn't just a space where we focus on how you feel.
We'll work together to understand the patterns that keep you stuck, experiment with different ways of responding, and build your capacity to make empowered choices that feel more like your own.
